Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.

Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and developing manual and automation test tools, methodologies, scripts, and executing end-to-end automation and manual test cases, tracking results, and logging defects.

  • Create test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for automated and manual testing
  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks
  • Contribute to implementing repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time, and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes
  • Plan the labor needs of each sprint and product releases
  • Work in a dedicated squad team and help drive product quality
  • Ensure all assigned testing deliverables timelines are met within the sprint and product release
  • Create and communicate test reports for stakeholders such as the principal engineer, product owner, scrum master, and release management
  • Liaise with business users, business analysts, and engineers to ensure that any assigned defects are resolved
  • Maintain awareness of external environments and trends in testing to contribute to the improvement of processes and assets
  • Promote productivity through test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Cook and train other team members on manual and automated testing

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on transformation programs that modernize operations and drive innovation across our customer's entire IT estate using the latest technologies in cloud, applications, security, IT Outsourcing, business process outsourcing, and modern workplace.

Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of software testing experience (Manual and Automation)
  • Experience with automated testing tool Playwright
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing, including planning, test case design, test reporting, defect tracking, estimating, and test coverage
  • Experience working with external parties and vendors
  • Demonstrated capability to learn and understand a business and its processes and systems in depth
  • Experience with Selenium as well as other tools (e.g., Java, Maven, and Postman)
  • Demonstrated skills with REST and SOAP web services and API testing
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines and parallel test execution
  • Experience testing web, mobile, and windows applications
  • Ability to work across multiple products/platforms/squads
