Automation Engineer Opportunity

Job Description

This role is part of a team responsible for automation and innovation of test solutions used by banks in the Swiss market. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will work in close cooperation with stakeholders to deliver high-quality automation solutions that meet customer needs and requirements.

  • Support the implementation of software testing processes, including dedicated testing levels and test types.
  • Define test cases and scenarios for new functionalities.
  • Assist the team in day-to-day work with test management tools.
  • Participate in creating new concepts in automated testing and testing strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using Avaloq Test Framework, Java, TestMaster, Cypress, and other automation tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation engineering.
  • Firm understanding of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, and Avaloq Script.
  • Quality-conscious attitude, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Good communication skills (proficient in English verbally and in writing).
  • Interest in banking and/or wealth management business.

Additional qualifications include experience with Oracle database architecture, Orbium's TestMaster, Avaloq Banking System, automation tools like Cypress, Appium, Jest, performance testing tool Gatlin, LoadRunner, JMeter, Angular, NgRx, RxJs operators, TypeScript, JavaEE, Spring Boot, and ISTQB certification.
