About the Role

The Cost Accountant at BIGGS Inc. will be responsible for tracking and analyzing costs related to production, inventory, and operational processes. This involves preparing detailed cost reports, evaluating cost structures, and recommending strategies to improve financial efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocation, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support budgeting and financial planning activities.

Requirements

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
• Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing cost reports and financial statements
• Effective communication skills for interacting with various departments and presenting findings
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide actionable recommendations
• Knowledge of industry-specific cost factors, such as food production and inventory management
