Senior Web Developer Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned web developer to spearhead new development initiatives and deliver high-quality websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills.

The Senior Web Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, translate them into technical solutions, and build modern, interactive, responsive websites using WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop efficient, well-designed, and testable code following best practices, design patterns, and standards.
  • Implement website optimization techniques for speed, cache, SEO, and mobile device optimization.
  • Create and maintain documentation for developed solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience in website development.
  • Proficient in WordPress, including theme and plugin development, customization, integration with 3rd party platforms, and administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with Docker and automated testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
