Job Overview

The Senior Financial Planning Analyst is a key position that plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing financial models to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, and forecasting.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance financial models using Planful and other tools to provide actionable insights and support informed business decisions.
  • Analyze financial results to identify areas of improvement, risks, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Support the annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes using Planful.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand key drivers and develop strategic plans that align with business objectives.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Extract and reconcile financial data from Sage and Planful for variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic planning.
  • Strong proficiency with FP&A tools, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting software.
  • Experience working with accounting software for general ledger and transactional data.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
