Kitchen Sanitation Specialist

The Dishwasher is a critical member of our kitchen team responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment.
• Assist with sweeping and mopping dining room and bar areas as needed.
• Deep clean under the Bar Wells to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Clean drains nightly to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Scrub and wipe down dish room, dishwasher, and sinks.
• Clean doors and surfaces to prevent scratching.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop walk-ins and freezer floors.
• Scrub and clean bus trays; remove stains from pots; remove stickers from pans and plastic containers.
• Soak and scrub cutting boards, coffee cups, glassware, dishware, and silverware.
• Handle glassware, plates, bowls, and equipment with care.
• Take out garbage and clean garbage cans consistently.
• Salvage reusable supplies and store food and cleaning supplies properly.
• Maintain proper care of kitchen equipment and verify the dishwasher is cleaned before the end of each shift.

Requirements:

• Valid Food Handler Card.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles.
• Understanding of kitchen equipment and their standard usage.
