Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Specialist to join our team.

  • This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of expertise in policy development and implementation.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and ensuring adherence to a clear framework for finance policies and procedures.

  • This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures, reviewing and updating existing ones, and communicating new policies and procedures to stakeholders.
  • Additionally, the candidate will provide advice on policy interpretation and application, and assist in identifying process improvements with a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Policy Development: Develop and ensure finance policies and procedures adhere to a clear framework.
  2. Review and Update: Review and update existing policies and procedures to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  3. Communication: Communicate new policies and procedures to stakeholders through various channels.
  4. Advice and Support: Provide advice on policy interpretation and application to colleagues and other departments.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in policy development and implementation is required.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
