About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at IKON SOLUTIONS ASIA. This exciting opportunity involves working in a dynamic environment with a focus on maintenance, repair, and installation of plant equipment.

Job Summary
  • Flexible work hours available for the right candidate.
  • A minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in maintenance is required for this role.
  • The company can provide work visas for suitable candidates.
  • The expected salary for this position is ₱118,000 - ₱120,000 per month.
  • An immediate start date is available for the successful applicant.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance
  1. Receive instructions on routine tasks to facilitate timely completion of duties as per given guidelines and HSEQ standards.
  2. Patrol assigned sites according to work orders/instructions; monitor the physical condition of all equipment, report non-conformances to ensure effective maintenance of machinery within QAPCO facilities as per set Quality/HSE standards.
  3. Attend to breakdowns and perform corrective actions, adhering to procedures and guidelines to minimize downtime and maximize equipment functionality.
  4. Carry out preventive maintenance activities as per defined schedules to facilitate uninterrupted operations.
  5. Participate in shut down operations as per defined procedures and standards and in line with HSEQ guidelines.
  6. Monitor the quality of repaired units within defined limits and highlight any deviations to the Mech. Supervisor so that any non-conformances are identified and corrected proactively.
  7. Respond to plant emergencies such as fires, gas leaks etc. under the direction of the Mech. Supervisor.
  8. Provide work directions to contractors' personnel for necessary maintenance, installation, and modification works as directed and required by the Supervisor and validate that work is performed according to QAPCO's standards and specifications.
  9. Maintain logbooks on maintenance tasks carried out to facilitate timely information availability and ready referencing.
Housekeeping
  1. Clean the area where maintenance was carried out to ensure debris is disposed of in a timely manner and health and safety risks are minimized.

  1. Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Statements and Reports
  1. Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies, and standards.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
  1. Ensure adherence to all relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls to guarantee the safety of employees, quality of products/services, and environmental compliance.
  2. Conduct observations on unsafe/safe acts and report in a timely manner.
