About This Role

We're looking for a skilled copywriter with expertise in instructional design to create compelling English content for a client specializing in education for financial professionals.

This role focuses on developing certification course materials, blogs, and whitepapers while collaborating with the client's writing teams to ensure content alignment with their goals and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of writing for adult learning, be skilled in transforming dry details into engaging messaging, and be familiar with finance, risk management, or financial crime prevention.

Main Responsibilities
  • Write clear, compelling copy for various media formats, including long-form blog posts, learning modules, skills assessments, surveys, articles, and whitepapers.
  • Interpret content briefs to understand assigned tasks and underlying asks, following up where more information is needed.
  • Engage with subject matter experts and teams to comprehend key takeaways, calls to action, and behaviors they aim to influence.
  • Adhere to client brand and editorial guidelines.
  • Apply feedback from client teams and quality control editors.
  • Partner with client teams, bringing suggestions, and contributing own ideas and expertise to the table.

Necessary Qualifications
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interest in education, adult-learning, and crime and fraud.
  • Ability to transform a content brief into engaging courseware or narratives.
  • Strong research skills and natural curiosity to learn new topics.
  • Ability to facilitate interviews and workshops with subject matter experts to gather required input for compelling materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with content and learning management systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in copywriter/content creator roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, English or equivalent experience.
  • Reliable home internet service.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that aligns with business needs.
