As a dental claims professional, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding insurance claims, documenting all interactions and communications with patients.
- Process and send out claims to insurance companies, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing.
- Analyze denial validity and implement effective resolution strategies.
- Generate reports and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Resubmit and reprocess claims as needed, addressing grievances and appeals in a prompt and professional manner.
- Clear rejected claims on a regular basis, maintaining an accurate record of actions taken.
- Update office records with all payments posted, ensuring that rejected claims are thoroughly addressed.
- Complete assigned tasks and follow-ups, utilizing spreadsheets to track progress.
- Retrieve EOBs from insurance portals for posting, applying adjustments as necessary.
- Identify process updates or issues, communicating findings with the team to drive improvement.
- Strong verbal and written English skills, with minimal accent when speaking.
- Background in dental insurance or collections industries, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong command of written and verbal English.
