Job Overview

About the Position:

  • We are looking for an individual with expertise in backend web development using Typescript/Javascript (NodeJS) who can maintain existing software and develop new products.
  • You will participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on backend development, writing clean, reliable code and tests for APIs, collaborating with Frontend Engineers to integrate APIs, building reusable code and libraries for future use, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and working with product, design, and QA teams to gather requirements and ensure quality.
  • Your responsibilities will also include staying updated with emerging technologies and adapting to changes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in backend web development using Typescript/Javascript (NodeJS)
  • Experience with popular DBMS technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of version control systems like git
  • Experience in building APIs using REST, GraphQL, gRPC (advantage)
  • Knowledge of deployment and build tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Bazel, Ansible
  • Cloud management experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Circle CI, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Additional experience with ELK Stack, Prometheus, Terraform, Pulumi, or Data Analytics is a plus
