The DCX team is on the lookout for a talented Remote Cloud Application Developer to join their innovative technology team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving innovation and combining strategy, creativity, and technology to deliver customer-focused, fit-for-purpose solutions.

Job Description

This role plays a vital part in streamlining manual or repetitive tasks, integrating applications through APIs to automate processes, and creating automated reporting solutions. The developer will work closely with cross-departmental teams to foster inter-departmental collaboration, develop low-code web and mobile applications, and ensure seamless integration across systems.

  • Development and Architecture:
    • Be a subject matter expert but stay humble, continuing to learn and explore new technologies, tools, and services necessary to architect your solutions.
    • Develop expertise in Power Platform and explore other applications and automation development tools and services such as Office 365, Azure, Enterprise Service Bus, Google Apps/AppSheets, etc.
    • Integrate multiple disparate systems through the use of APIs, automation, and other methods.
    • Learn about, explore, and implement opportunities to automate manual tasks or improve user experience.
    • Challenge the status quo and encourage team members and partners in the business unit to embrace what is possible and think 'outside of the box'.
    • Manage third-party applications, including third-level support, maintenance, and vendor relationships as required.
  • Day-to-day support:
    • Triage and manage needs to custom applications, provide rapid response to issues that need same-day response.
    • Engage and respond to third parties to ensure they deliver to our needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
  • 4+ years of experience in application, data analytics, or development-related work;
  • 2 or more years of experience with SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate and PowerShell;
  • 2 or more years of experience with Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Automation Accounts and DevOps;
  • Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.
