Medical Transcription Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Transcription Specialist to transcribe live patient calls and take dictations from clients in the field of Dermatology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe live patient calls, take dictations from clients, and convert audio files for transcription.
  • Utilize software such as Express Scribe to download and transcribe audio files.
  • Ensure high accuracy in transcription, with a minimum of 98% accuracy.
  • Proofread all transcriptions prior to entering data into Visit Notes to avoid errors.
  • Enter data into EMR Visit Notes once proofreading is completed.
  • Notify clients after completion of data entry in Visit Notes.
  • Complete all dictations for the day from clients.
  • Perform additional tasks dependent on client requests.
  • Complete notes during encounters incorporating essential elements as dictated by providers.
  • Complete prescriptions dictated by providers and send them electronically.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Medical Allied Graduate.
  • At least 1 year experience in Dermatology Transcription.
  • Good attention to detail, typing speed of 55 WPM with 95% accuracy in transcription.
  • Good listening, comprehension, and research skills.
  • Good English grammar and pronunciation both oral and written.
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminologies.
  • Ability to focus and concentrate with little distraction.
  • Trainings and certifications will be provided.
  • Physically fit to work in a BPO setting.
