Job Description

The Asset Liability Risk Management Officer assists the MRM Team Head in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and controlling liquidity risk and interest rate risk in the banking book.

  • Recommends liquidity risk and interest rate risk management policies to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Supports the completion of the ICAAP document, focusing on risks related to interest rate and liquidity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Weekly delivery of treasury risk reports to ALCO, including RBCAR/CET1 limit compliance, unimpaired capital, and SBL position, as well as adherence to internal and external liquidity risk limits.
  • Monthly estimation of Interest Rate Risk (EaR and EVE) and liquidity risk (MCO) for the Bank.
  • Performance of monthly stress testing of EaR, EVE, and MCO profiles to assess potential risks.
  • Quarterly benchmarking of key performance indicators, such as Asset Size, Capital, ROE, RBCAR, CET1, and NPL.
  • Leadership in completing reports on Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk profiles for ALCO and ROC.
  • Support in completing the annual audit of Financial disclosures covering Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk.
  • Contribution to policy review and development for items related to Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk.
  • Role as the checker for outputs from the Treasury and Trust Risk Management Officer.
