Job Title: Insurance Authorization Advisor

At Med-Metrix, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Authorization Advisor to join our team. As an Insurance Authorization Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the necessary medical authorization for their appointments.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations for services
  • You will communicate effectively with physicians' offices and patients to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient data, including medical history and insurance information
  • You will demonstrate a strong understanding of managed care insurance and regulatory guidelines
  • You will meet and maintain daily productivity/quality standards established by the department

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, modifiers, and diagnosis codes
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
