Detailed Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Supervise bar operations to meet guests' expectations, overseeing bartenders to ensure exceptional service quality.
2. Develop and implement mixology programs across the property, driving innovation in cocktail and mocktail offerings.
3. Follow Integrated Food Safety and Standards, maintaining accurate records of bar transfers, hygiene checklists, and guest supplies.
4. Communicate closely with the Director of Beverage to achieve departmental targets and maintain high-quality beverage service standards.
5. Stay up-to-date on fresh, innovative, and seasonally accurate recipes, driving menu changes to ensure excellent guest experiences.
6. Maintain bar beverage inventory control, ensuring accurate product requisitions and stock levels.
7. Promote teamwork and collaboration within the restaurant to meet daily and monthly targets.
8. Perform additional duties as necessary to support the success of the department.

Requirements and Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in mixology or a similar role are required. Key competencies include:

1. Ability to create and recommend menu changes based on guest feedback and analysis.
2. Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding treatment of minors/pregnant guests, alcohol ban periods, etc.
3. Wine Spirit Education Trust Certification is an advantage.
4. Mastery of international cocktails.
5. Capacity to provide justifications for monthly and annual inventory audit findings.
