- Leverage extensive experience in threat detection, digital forensics, and incident management to develop and implement robust incident response strategies.
- Analyze complex security incidents, identifying areas for improvement and developing mitigation plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams in responding to security incidents, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective resolution.
- Mentor junior analysts, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall security posture.
- Conduct regular threat hunting activities, staying ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulatory agencies, to share information and best practices.
- Stay current with industry developments, emerging threats, and evolving security regulations.
- Promote a culture of security awareness within Vertiv, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent qualifications.
- At least 3 years of experience in incident response, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, threat landscapes, and attack techniques.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and other security technologies.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, GCIH, CISSP, CEH) highly valued.
- Experience with cloud security, penetration testing, and ethical hacking techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rotational shifts as needed.
