Job Title: Licensed Chemist

W HYDROCOLLOIDS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Chemist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for conducting physico-chemical analysis of sample materials to ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physico-chemical laboratory testing of sample materials under controlled and standardized conditions to ensure reliable results.
  • Plan and conduct Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) programs and investigations as scheduled.
  • Prepare technical reports, maintain records, and issue Certificates of Analysis for shipments.
  • Maintain product specifications, inventory, and safekeeping, including purchased material specifications for reagents and chemicals.
  • Recommend corrective action on customer complaints related to quality.
  • Review and update QC Manual, Work Instructions, and Procedures, and train QC Analysts.
  • Responsible for FDA applications, including preparation of documents needed for filing shipment Health Certificates.
  • Generate monthly monitoring sheets for FG quality and SRF formulas.
  • Maintain and update client folders with Sales Orders, COAs, and other records generated.
  • Perform other functions assigned by the supervisor from time to time or as prescribed by approved policy or guidelines.
