Job Summary

The role of Senior Procurement Specialist is a key position within the organization responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans to meet business requirements.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  • Maintaining accurate records of approved and qualified suppliers for assigned commodities.
  • Cultivating supplier performance through efficient communication and issue resolution.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements.

Key responsibilities also involve:

  • Reviewing and approving purchasing orders and contracts.
  • Conducting market research to identify new technologies and suppliers.
  • Working closely with engineering and product design teams to ensure manufacturability and quality of materials.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • A proven ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
