Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Tester to join our team at Nowcom Global Services, LLC.

This position involves designing and developing automated testing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of designs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development life cycle using Agile-Scrum methodology and experience with software quality control & assurance on pre-release and post-release processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Designing user interface layouts for computer screens and print layouts.
  2. Modifying existing software to correct errors and adapt to new hardware.
  3. Developing specifications and performance requirements and resolving customer problems.
  4. Developing and directing software system testing and validation procedures.
  5. Directing software programming documentation.
  6. Consulting with customers and/or other departments regarding project status, proposals, and technical issues such as software system designs and maintenance.
  7. Advising customers about performing and maintaining software systems.
  8. Coordinating installations of software systems.
  9. Monitoring the functioning of equipment to ensure systems operate as per specifications.

Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of progressive IT experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills.
  5. Experience with Microsoft platform is a plus but not required.
