Evaluate Requests for Payments:
- Evaluate requests for payments (RFPs) and their attachments prior to preparing accounts payable vouchers (APVs).
- Determine the correct amount due for payment after resolving invoice discrepancies.
Record Transactions:
- Record transactions in the book of accounts to ensure accurate and timely financial statement reporting.
- Ensure that transactions are reported correctly in the financial statements.
Subsidiary Ledgers:
- Maintain subsidiary ledgers of suppliers and contractors to ensure up-to-date information.
- Apply applicable deductions before preparing payment vouchers.
Audit Findings and Recommendations:
- Write audit findings and provide recommendations for improvement where weaknesses are identified.
- Assist the Senior Accounting Analyst in reconciling the subsidiary ledger of major suppliers/contractors with general ledger accounts.
Petty Cash Fund Transaction Review:
- Review petty cash fund transactions prior to approval by the head of Finance to ensure validity, accuracy, and legitimacy.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports/schedules of accounts to aid both internal and external users in interpreting changes in Suntrust Properties, Inc.'s financial position.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
Preferably certified public accountant (CPA) but not required.
Knowledgeable in SEC, BIR, and other government compliance reports.
Preferably with work-related experience in a real estate company.
