Senior Technical Writer

We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with experience in creating high-quality documentation and content.

The Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for owning the creation, optimization, and maintenance of both internal and external knowledge base content. They will partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Customer Support, Rev Ops and Customer Success to ensure our knowledge ecosystem empowers customers to self-serve, while also enabling internal teams to move faster with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, write, and develop new and updated knowledge base articles, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, snippets, and internal enablement docs.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deeply understand new features and translate technical detail into clear, customer-ready content.
  • Collaborate with Support, Customer Success, and Enablement teams to capture recurring issues, identify knowledge gaps, and improve internal workflows.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate drafting, auditing, and surfacing weak or duplicate content.
  • Conduct recurring content audits to ensure KB remains accurate, current, and discoverable.
  • Mentor junior writers, sharing best practices for technical writing, SEO, and AI adoption.
  • Drive the creation and execution of release notes and documentation plans tied to product launches.
  • Provide training/reference content to accelerate onboarding and upskilling of internal employees.
Requirements:
  • Customer Obsession: Writes with empathy, prioritizing clarity and usability for customers and internal teams.
  • Technical Acumen: Proficient in CMS platforms, analytics dashboards, and structured authoring systems.
  • Proficient in Git, HTML, and docs-as-code.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to engage with SMEs and explain technical concepts.
  • Collaboration: Builds strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, Support, and CS teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures all content is accurate, complete, and error-free.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identifies knowledge gaps and proposes scalable solutions.
  • Ai Fluency: Skilled at integrating AI tools for writing, summarization, insights, and content maintenance.
  • Organizational Skills: Manages multiple deliverables with clear documentation and prioritization.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-changing product and business environment.
  • Analytical Thinking: Uses data, feedback, and AI-driven insights to audit, improve, and optimize content.
