Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Controller to join our team in Quezon City. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the company's financial functions, ensuring the highest standards of financial control and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the logistics or warehousing industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal control frameworks, and risk management practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Audit Manager in planning, directing, and executing comprehensive internal audits across various business units and departments
  • Analyse financial and operational data to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
  • Liaise with department heads and senior management to understand business processes and provide strategic recommendations
  • Develop and implement financial systems, procedures, and policies to enhance the company's financial control framework
  • Train and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, presenting findings and recommendations to the management team
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices in financial management

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the logistics or warehousing industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal control frameworks, and risk management practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business issues
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in the use of financial software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is highly desirable
