About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team at Project Assistant. As a key member of our development team, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver innovative solutions that drive our clients' success.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including developing and maintaining scalable, efficient, and high-quality web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and visually appealing user experiences, and contributing to scaling efforts.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and high-quality web applications.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, project managers, and the existing Hawaii team to deliver seamless and visually appealing user experiences.
  • Work closely with an existing frontend and backend team and contribute to scaling efforts.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer preferably in Next.js.
  • 5+ years in Agile software development.
  • 5+ years in API-driven development.
  • Experience working with ETL Pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Availability Management (Bookings – Hotels, Tours, Activities).
  • OTA experience is a must or experience with integrating third-party services such as FareHarbor, Klook.com, Agoda.com, Trip.com, Amadeus, Booking.com, and Airbnb.
  • Database experience with MySQL.
  • Open to adopting additional technologies that solve business challenges efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
