Technical Requirements

As a DevOps Engineer at Intogreat Solutions, you will need to have a solid understanding of AWS and its various services.

About this role

This is a remote position that requires strong technical skills and experience. You will be responsible for managing our cloud hosting environment in AWS, creating new hosting environments, and ensuring our platform remains performant, reliable, secure, and has predictable running costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage cloud hosting infrastructure, including employee user management with different roles and accessibility.
  2. Create and manage new hosting environments.
  3. Ensure the hosting platform is regularly reviewed, patched, and updated.
  4. Regularly review the infrastructure and leverage new tools & solutions available in AWS for performance, cost, and security improvements.
  5. Design, develop & maintain the company's automated CI/CD process.
  6. Provide technical support to the company support team and delivery team to resolve customer issues.
  7. Perform technical research or small PoC projects to help the development team reduce technical debt and improve application performance.
  8. Monitor application availability, performance, security threats, backups, and other automated tasks, resolving these issues when they occur.
Requirements

Skills and Experience

  1. AWS Certified Professional.
  2. 2-3 years of enterprise experience working with AWS.
  3. Previous DevOps experience working on SaaS solutions with CI/CD processes.
  4. Experience using tooling and programming languages such as Bash, Git, Jira, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  5. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with proven document/report writing ability.
  6. Excellent attention to detail.
  7. Team player.
  8. Keen on automation.
  9. Willingness to learn and grow.
  10. An organized and methodical approach to tasks.
  11. Focused on high standards as well as meeting delivery times.
