Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tax and legal reviews of third-party asset manager documentation and investment contracts.
  • Identify potential legal issues that may impact investments for clients and in-house funds.
  • Deliver high-quality work that meets client expectations and adheres to excellence principles.
  • Provide guidance to consulting and portfolio management teams on legal review processes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Support due diligence queries and resolve legal/tax inquiries.
  • Lead projects using subject matter expertise.
  • Maintain and utilize internal databases.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and external service providers.
  • Continuously improve processes based on prior experience.

Requirements

  • A degree in business, math, finance, science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of successful investment industry experience.
  • Onboarding experience specifically for fund/investment managers.
  • A legal/paralegal background is essential.
  • Knowledge/experience of investment manager agreements and fund subscription documents.
  • Familiarity with institutional clients is beneficial.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Excellent internal networking and cross-functional collaboration skills.
