Accounting Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced accounting operations manager to oversee our daily accounting functions, including expenses, fixed assets, leasing, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting Operations Management: Manage all daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial data.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
  3. Financial Analysis: Review and analyze intercompany accounts, posts subsidiary trial balances, and performs variance analysis to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  4. Audit and Compliance: Manage audits and filings for subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing solutions to enhance accounting processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; advanced degree or CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a BPO or service company, and a background with an international company is a must.
  • Skills: Strong grasp of US GAAP, financial controls, forecasting, and financial reporting; excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Personality: Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, motivate others outside of their direct control, and possess a flexible attitude towards changing priorities.
