Our organization is seeking a seasoned technical expert to fill the role of Senior Systems Specialist.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex Windows OS and networking issues. They will also have excellent collaboration skills, working closely with vendors to address third-party software support needs.

The selected individual will be responsible for managing network infrastructure, maintaining server and workstation systems, and planning and deploying server, network, and workstation installations, upgrades, and network refreshes.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements for this position include:

  • A minimum of 3 years of full workstation support experience with troubleshooting Windows OS (Windows 8.1 to 11), including peripherals such as printers and scanners.
  • A strong background in systems administration or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with network operating systems, protocols, security best practices, and implementation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and supporting services (DNS, DHCP, File & Print Sharing).
  • Experience with Hyper-V and VMware hypervisors.
