Senior Network Engineer Role

The Senior Network Engineer provides operational support for our global network environment. They offer proactive and reactive support for all network hardware, software, and communication links.

The role involves on-boarding new clients, designing and implementing new offices, or integrating network technologies through coordination with Demand or Project Managers.

Responsibilities include responding to ticket requests and incident notifications, resolving issues within Service Level Agreements, and providing solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Project or Demand Managers in integrating network setups.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems with detailed documentation.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance activities, such as code updates and equipment upgrades.
  • Manage incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
  • Oversee assigned projects and program components to deliver services according to established objectives.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel, and outside vendors.
  • Maintain security and audit compliance.
  • Adhere to Operational Standards and Engineering Design Standards.

  • DNS, DHCP, VPN, Network Security, IP Routing Protocols
  • Cisco Networking Technologies: Routing & Switching, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Cisco Wireless
  • Meraki Wireless
  • Palo Alto Firewalls
Requirements
  • 5+ years of extensive experience in supporting Cisco Networking Technologies.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Practical knowledge of CISCO Networking Technologies.
  • ITIL Ver. 3.0 or Ver. 4.0 preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment.
  • High-level technology problem-solving skills.
