Job Overview

The Proposal Specialist is a pivotal role in our organization, responsible for developing and executing winning proposals that meet our clients' goals.

This position requires a strong background in proposal management, including win strategy development, proposal planning, and content creation. The ideal candidate will have experience working on remote teams and possess excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Develop and review proposal responses, executive summaries, and supporting materials.
  • Conduct thorough reviews for accuracy, compliance, and clarity.
  • Collaborate with various SMEs and departments to manage existing and moderate new content in the Responsive content library.
  • Manage proposal timelines, tasks, and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery of all submissions.
  • Support capture management by identifying new opportunities and working with the public sector sales team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in proposal development.
  • Strong background in win strategy development, proposal planning, and content creation.
  • APMP certification or experience with APMP, Shipley, and/or similar methodologies.
  • Familiarity with proposal software (e.g., Responsive) for content management and workflow automation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred.
  • Experience working on remote teams.
  • Proven writing, editing, and proofing skills.
