We are looking for a talented Data Analyst Tester to join our Worldwide Healthstaff Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating data across various systems and applications, ensuring high-quality data delivery.

About the Role:
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and end-users to understand data requirements and define testing objectives.
  • Conduct thorough testing of data across multiple systems, including reports in IBM Cognos, Power BI, and other IT tools.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in data and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data analysis and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Testing and Validation:
  1. Test and validate data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  2. Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in data and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication:
  1. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and define testing objectives.
  2. Communicate testing progress, results, and issues effectively to project teams and management.
Quality Assurance Best Practices:
  1. Implement and adhere to testing best practices, methodologies, and standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Technical Expertise:
  1. Proven experience testing reports in IBM Cognos and Power BI.
  2. Proficiency in data analysis and testing, including knowledge of SQL and data validation processes.
  3. Hands-on experience with testing methodologies (functional, regression, system, and performance testing).
Additional Skills:
  1. Knowledge of scripting or automation tools for testing processes.
  2. Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Soft Skills:
  1. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  2. Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
