Job Title: IT Technical Lead - Telecoms

Location: Okada Manila

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Lead - Telecoms to join our team. The IT Technical Lead - Telecoms will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our telecoms infrastructure, ensuring high availability and adherence to industry standards.

About the Role

The IT Technical Lead - Telecoms will be responsible for:

  • Identifying technologies and solutions to support our technology roadmap.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to related technology disciplines for collaborative projects.
  • Interacting with solution and technology vendors for project services and technology updates.
  • Mentoring IT technicians within the functional group.
  • Collaborating with team members to create and develop plans and designs of telecoms infrastructure to support new projects and enhancements.
  • Leading proof of concept activities, conducting design and performance assessments of customer projects.
  • Performing service testing and benchmarking for IP services and enhanced customer experience.
  • Isolating, resolving, and tracking escalated alarms and issues.
  • Managing recurring problems and creating long-term solutions.
  • Escalating incidents to vendors for resolution when necessary.
  • Invoking change management processes for network changes.
  • Reviewing service work orders from the IT technician group and managing implementation timelines.
  • Executing capacity plans and upgrades to ensure high availability.
  • Planning and executing proof of concept activities for new network elements integration.
  • Managing trouble tickets and ensuring resolution within SLA.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or equivalent years of experience.
  • CNNA and Voice Certification is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network operations and support.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supporting large, complex data networks.
  • Knowledge of operating systems and infrastructure technology.
