Key to our success lies in our ability to drive business outcomes through timely and accurate financial oversight. We seek a diligent Financial Accountant to join our Finance team, playing a pivotal role in the integrity of our financials and revenue management across our global operations.

This individual will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, ensuring precise accounting, revenue, and cost allocations. Key responsibilities include supporting the month-end close process, managing accruals and prepayments, collaborating closely with internal teams and finance stakeholders. They will also oversee fixed asset register activities, ensure accurate internal cost allocations, and prepare tax entries into the general ledger.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fixed asset reporting within a large corporation, management of accruals and prepayments across various functions, and service company intercompany accounting expertise. They must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be conscientious, self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the month-end close process
  • Record accrual and prepayment provisions
  • Manage monthly accounting activities related to the Fixed Asset Register
  • Oversee accruals and prepayments
  • Ensure accurate internal cost allocations
  • Preparing and processing tax entries into the GL
  • Work with the FP&A team to assist in forecasting and budgeting
  • Continuously review and enhance month-end processes
  • Ensure all internal controls over financial reporting are effectively implemented
  • Partner with Procurement teams to manage purchase orders and approval processes
  • Work with finance counterparts to manage intercompany reconciliations
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Fixed Asset reporting within a large corporation
  • Management of accruals and prepayments across various functions
  • Service company intercompany accounting expertise
  • Demonstrated personal organisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
