Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and digitally savvy journalist to produce engaging, news-focused short-form videos and written content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about current affairs, understands social media trends, and knows how to craft stories that spark conversations and connect with online communities.

The selected individual will be responsible for researching trending topics, conducting fact-checking, and ensuring accuracy and credibility in all content. They will also develop compelling story angles, script narratives, and create engaging captions, headlines, and hooks optimized for different platforms.

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in content creation, social media management, or digital journalism is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, their audiences, and content trends.
  • Proficiency in video editing and design software (Capcut, Canva, or equivalent).

A successful candidate will have a keen sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition, with interest in current affairs, news, and social issues.
