Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Recruiter PH. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the transaction processing team, ensuring daily production goals are met, and maintaining the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of Refunds Specialists and AR/Chargeback Clerks, responsible for processing refunds and commissions in POLAR and SIEBEL, and raising A/R billings and clearing credit card chargebacks in Oracle and Merchant Credit Card systems.
  • Ensure daily production goals and KPI standards are met within acceptable SLA's and in accordance with accounting policies and SOX compliance.
  • Maintain PCI compliance and due diligence for handling customer PII.
  • Work closely with the stateside Manager and Supervisors to receive training and guidance on applicable responsibilities.
  • Participate in the 'Train the Trainer' process and train the rest of the team upon learning the work.
  • Challenges include continually meeting daily SLA's, ensuring production accuracy, and coordinating month-end Close timeliness.
  • Stay up-to-date with system/workflows and SLA's.
  • Comply with all corporate policies and SOX guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing training and staff assistance.
  • Manage the clerical workload, ensuring transactional requirements are met daily, weekly, and monthly, meeting service level standards.
  • Maintain current desktop procedures.
  • Foster a positive work environment and mentor team members to work towards achieving accuracy and efficiency in their daily tasks.
  • Communicate team progress and emerging issues to the Stateside Manager on a weekly basis, or more often based on critical nature.
  • Coordinate with the Stateside Manager/Supervisor the month-end production cutoff and KPI reporting.
Requirements
  • College degree in finance or business.
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a large production-focused financial environment.
  • Strong familiarity with internal controls relative to financial transaction processing environments, including SOX controls.
  • Strong familiarity with PCI compliance and due diligence for handling customer PII.
  • Strong Excel and Word skills, with above-average proficiency required.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and training skills.
  • Strong PC skills and dual monitor use.
  • Oracle experience preferred.
  • POLAR and SIEBEL experience preferred.
