About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end financial functions within SharePro. Your expertise in financial management and compliance will ensure that our financial performance is accurately reported and regulatory requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Presents monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (actual vs budget vs LY, with variances) for the company, including profit center and project analysis.
    • Coordinates with the FLI/FDC/FAI finance team on financial reporting requirements.
    • Reviews and approves journal entries/adjustments.
    • Maintains accurate and timely records of company transactions to ensure required reports are submitted on time.
  • Tax and Regulatory Compliance:
    • E nsures all projects/entities handled have necessary permits from government regulatory bodies.
    • Reviews/prepares regular tax returns and ensures timely payment of taxes to avoid penalties.
    • Coordinates with FLI Tax/Legal on tax compliance and standards.
  • Expenditure and Disbursement Management:
    • Approves Request for Payments (RFPs), Cash Advances (CAs), and accounts payable/check vouchers within approval limits.
    • Ensures contractors/suppliers are paid correctly and timely, adhering to agreed terms and conditions.
  • Revenue, Receivable, and Treasury Management:
    • Billing to clients: Ensures prompt billings and efficient collections, reviewing/approving adjustments as needed.
    • Collection: Deposits collections to valid depository accounts without delay, ensuring Official Receipts are properly issued.
    • Funds management: Manages cash flows to fund company requirements, investing excess cash adequately.
  • Systems and Procedures:
    • Leads process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and development.
    • Ensures systems are stable, effective, and integrated into applicable systems.
    • Reviews system effectiveness 3 months post-implementation and recommends solutions for issues encountered.
  • Database and Other Tasks:
    • Maintains a clean database in coordination with responsible departments.
    • Supports the Mancom and other departments as needed.
    • Performs other tasks assigned from time to time.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
    • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
    • At least 5 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, management reporting, or budget reporting in a corporate set-up.
    • Experience in preparing management reports, financial statements, and budget reports.
