Title: Technology Transfer Specialist

This is a specialist role responsible for facilitating technology transfer through support and funding for small enterprises nationally.

Main Job Purpose
  • To assess the viability and sustainability of small enterprises for technology transfer projects
  • To develop business cases for the adjudication panel
  • To administer the national technology transfer fund
  • To establish and maintain accurate databases
  • To verify supplied technology received by clients
  • To contribute to reviews of technology transfer policy and processes
  • To conduct impact analysis on technology interventions
Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluating the feasibility of small enterprises
  2. Providing advisory services to stakeholders
  3. Maintaining relationships with clients
  4. Ensuring effective communication with stakeholders
  5. Monitoring and evaluating project outcomes
  6. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Technology, Science or Engineering
  • 4-6 years' experience in technology transfer and needs assessment
  • Advanced computer literacy – MS Office and MS Projects
