About the Role

This is a dynamic position where you will be responsible for administering firewalls, configuring and managing security infrastructure, and developing security policies to safeguard customer networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer firewall platforms ensuring proper functioning, software updates, and patch management.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain firewall devices and related security infrastructure.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and firewall rules.
  • Use strong TCP/IP networking skills to perform network troubleshooting and isolate common network problems.
  • Respond to inbound requests via phone and other electronic means for technical assistance with managed services.
Requirements:
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Practical experience of network security concepts, including threat detection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Significant experience with Linux, Windows, and Network Operating Systems.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of firewall technologies, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and other leading firewall platforms.
  • Working knowledge with VPN technologies, network protocols, and network architecture.
