We are seeking an experienced cloud engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimising cloud environments that support financial trading operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned IT professional with deep experience in cloud infrastructure and architecture. You'll be working on a range of projects, from designing and implementing cloud-based solutions to troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Engineering
    • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems and architectures.
    • Maintain system health, perform patching, backups, and configuration reviews.
    • Troubleshoot escalated issues across multiple cloud platforms.
  • Infrastructure Administration
    • Administer cloud resources, including compute, storage, and networking.
    • Enforce cloud governance, tagging, and cost optimisation.
    • Support automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery
    • Execute DR testing and maintain business continuity documentation.
  • Security Operations
    • Monitor and respond to alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
    • Enforce access controls, MFA, DLP, and compliance standards.
    • Work with other teams to resolve incidents and implement infrastructure changes.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in cloud engineering or similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, architecture, and security.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
