About the Role:

As a key member of our team at HR Network Inc, we are seeking an experienced Risk Management Lead to oversee the development and implementation of effective internal controls. This critical role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to identify and mitigate organizational risks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maintain a comprehensive annual audit plan in conjunction with the Internal Audit Head.
  • To participate in risk assessments to pinpoint and evaluate key organizational risks.
  • To summarize and categorize identified risks into a detailed report for review by senior management.
  • To design and execute audit programs, selecting suitable examination techniques to ensure efficiency.
  • To work closely with auditees and management throughout the audit cycle, discussing objectives, scope, and results.
  • To review audit work performed by subordinates, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to professional standards.
  • To draft and review audit reports, incorporating recommendations and auditee comments.
  • To conduct ad hoc audits, including fraud audits, as directed by the Internal Audit Head.
  • To adhere to professional standards such as the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and its Code of Ethics.
  • To report any conditions or circumstances affecting the efficiency and effectiveness of the Internal Audit Team to the Internal Audit Head.
  • To assist in developing and managing the internal audit department's operational requirements, including staffing, training, and other essential expenses.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • Preferably certified (CIA, CISA, CPA, etc.), but not required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Internal Audit.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management principles, and corporate governance best practices.
  • Proactive and able to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently or under minimal supervision.
  • Ethical integrity and commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.
