Job Opportunity

This is a remote Senior Architect position with a focus on technical leadership and innovation.

The role involves guiding staff Architects, Architectural Associates, and outside consultants on various projects, providing strong communication, problem-solving, design, and management skills to deliver high-quality construction documents.

You will supervise project teams, collaborate with the Project Architect, and ensure consistent, quality design across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Identify emerging markets, understand client needs, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in defining tasks, timelines, fees, and preparing project proposals.
  • Space Planning: Develop space needs and conduct zoning and code reviews.
  • Design Documentation: Review existing drawings, identify challenges, and produce Revit drawings.
  • Design Concepts: Establish design concepts, create 3D models, plan spaces, and coordinate with consultants.
  • Contract Documents: Prepare contract documents, lead quality control, and supervise technical details.
  • Bid Packages: Assist in preparing bid packages and respond to contractor RFIs.
  • Project Administration: Communicate contract requirements, review submittals, and coordinate change orders.
  • Team Support: Support team assignments, budgets, invoicing, and maintain effective communication with clients and staff.
Requirements:
  • Professional Degree in Architecture
  • Architectural Licensure (U.S. preferred; international considered with strong experience)
  • 10+ years of relevant architectural experience
  • Proven Leadership in Technical Design and Documentation
  • Proficiency in Revit; additional skills in SketchUp, Photoshop, and related software a plus
  • Strong Communication, Problem-Solving, and Mentoring Skills
  • Knowledge of Building Codes (IBC Experience Highly Valued)
