Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned front-end developer with expertise in delivering high-quality, modern web applications using WordPress, Shopify, and React.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in custom WordPress theme development, building responsive and accessible websites, and integrating third-party APIs. They will also be proficient in using modern toolchains such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and npm/yarn to improve development efficiency and code quality.

This role involves working closely with the lead developer to implement complex builds, solve technical challenges, and deliver projects on time while ensuring that the end product meets the client's expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS (Flexbox, Grid), and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Advanced experience in custom WordPress theme development and Shopify builds
  • Solid experience in React, including building projects in Gatsby or similar
  • Deep understanding of ACF and WordPress customization best practices
  • Proficient in CSS preprocessors like SCSS and building maintainable design systems
  • Familiarity with Git workflows in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in integrating APIs and handling asynchronous data
  • Skilled in optimizing websites for speed, accessibility, and SEO
  • Comfortable troubleshooting server-related issues (LAMP/LEMP environments, hosting setups)
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
