Job Description

As a seasoned Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing operational support to our global network environment. You will provide proactive and reactive support for all network hardware, software, and communication links. Your role will report to the Senior Manager of Engineering and Implementations.

Key responsibilities include on-boarding new clients, designing and implementing new offices, or integrating network technologies. This involves coordination with Demand or Project Managers and utilizing network management systems for documentation and implementation requests. Responsibilities also include responding to ticket requests and incident notifications, and resolving issues within Service Level Agreements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support Project or Demand Managers in integrating network setups.
  • Provide solutions to complex problems with well-planned documentation.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance activities such as code updates and equipment upgrades.
  • Manage Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Capacity Management.
  • Lead assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel, and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Ensure Security and Audit compliance.
  • Perform Operational-related Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD).
  • Adhere to Operational Standards.
  • Comply with Engineering Design Standards and established operational processes.
  • Participate in the Development and Maintenance of operational documentation, including updating Engineering documentation changes due to operational changes, escalation procedures, and vendor contracts.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis for Network Events.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in supporting Cisco Networking Technologies. Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required. Practical technical knowledge on CISCO Networking Technologies is essential. ITIL Version 3.0 or Version 4.0 is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to both technical and non-technical audiences is crucial.

The candidate should have strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment. High-level technology problem-solving skills are necessary. Standing and sitting for sustained periods of time, at least 25%, is expected. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required.

Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel

This position is mostly based on Work From Home (RTO as needed) with shifting schedules. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
