Cloud Systems Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Cloud Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our infrastructure and cloud solutions department, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimising cloud environments that support financial trading operations.

You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure will be instrumental in shaping our technology strategy and driving business growth.

About the Role:
  • Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud services.
  • Develop and implement effective cloud governance, security, and compliance strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on cloud-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in cloud infrastructure management, including design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based systems.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Excellent knowledge of virtualisation technologies, containerisation, and orchestration tools.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with DevOps practices and toolchains, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
