Job Description

We're seeking an experienced financial modeler to lead the development of comprehensive financial models, driving strategic decision-making and growth. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting concepts, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Financial Planning principles.



Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of active assignments and create robust financial models under senior management guidance.
  • Develop assumptions, parameters, and scenarios to ensure model reliability and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to discuss commercial issues and ensure they're accurately reflected in the model.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs.


Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead a team of modeling professionals and train junior team members to develop their skills.
  • Communicate model findings effectively and simplify complex financial model issues for non-technical stakeholders.


Growth Opportunities
  • Support business development and growth ambitions in a key sector of the business.
  • Participate in client pitches and build long-term relationships with clients.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:



Qualifications and Experience
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial role within an advisory practice or large corporate setting.
  • A good understanding of accounting principles and related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical skills with Excel expertise.
  • Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial.
