Snowflake Administrator Job Description

This role is focused on ensuring the secure and reliable operation of a large-scale data platform built on Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, particularly around security, user management, and role-based access control (RBAC).

Key responsibilities include integrating Snowflake with Active Directory (on-prem or Azure AD) for secure authentication and SSO, implementing and maintaining security policies, RBAC roles, auditing practices, and data protection standards.

A strong understanding of data governance principles and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration.
  • Proficiency in integrating Snowflake with Active Directory (on-prem or Azure AD).
  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience in supporting enterprise data platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position within our IT department.
