Key Responsibilities
  • Owning major features and collaborating with the design team to deliver high-quality features.
  • Contributing to the growth of the Android team and shaping its future.
  • Maintaining and improving reliability metrics for key features.
  • Participating in discussions across teams and reviewing pull requests.
  • Handling critical issues and unexpected challenges.
  • Taking ownership of feature releases and providing nightly builds for QA.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with Android components and experience building or contributing to an Android app.
  • Product design intuition, user empathy, and a drive to push UI/UX boundaries.
  • Understanding of test importance and self-drive to improve the app and codebase.
  • Expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit tests.
  • Excellent communication skills and user-oriented problem-solving approach.
  • Driven by continuous feedback from leaders.
