We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter with expertise in SolidWorks to support our engineering and manufacturing teams.

  • Create 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks for parts, assemblies, and complete systems
  • Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to develop technical drawings
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability
  • Maintain project files on the SolidWorks server
  • Apply GD&T standards and ensure compliance with drafting standards
  • Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to revision control procedures
  • Support the development of Bill of Materials (BOMs)
  • Prepare standard drawings and assembly guides

Requirements:

  • A degree in CAD, Drafting, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in roles requiring SolidWorks for 2D and 3D modeling
  • High proficiency in solid modeling using SolidWorks, including assemblies and drawing generation
  • Excellent file management and project organization skills
  • Prior experience with scaffolding or similar mechanical structures is an asset
