Job Description for a Functional Test Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Test Analyst to join our team at Boomering Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance and experience in automated testing tools such as Selenium.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and document test cases to ensure thorough coverage of application functionality.
  2. Coordinate with the DevOps team to provision test environments and ensure seamless testing operations.
  3. Conduct testing across various applications to identify defects and issues.
  4. Update stakeholders on testing progress and provide regular status updates.
  5. Identify and resolve blockers and ambiguities to ensure timely project completion.
  6. Document processes and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  7. Assist Senior Testing Analysts and/or Business Analysts as needed to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • At least 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Testing Analyst or equivalent role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Agile Software Development and automation testing tools such as Selenium.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and business domains in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with both business and technical people.
