We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions within the organization.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with expertise in voucher preparation, analysis, and procurement management. Key responsibilities include:
• Reviewing suppliers' billings and ensuring documentation and procedures are followed;
• Preparing vouchers payable and ensuring proper accounting entries;
• Monitoring accruals and making adjustments as needed;
• Coordinating purchase requests and verifying completeness of item specifications;
• Performing canvassing processes and sending recommendations to the Head of Procurement;
• Maintaining regular coordination with other departments to confirm and verify product specifications;
• Communicating with vendors concerning deliveries, defective goods, and services;
• Implementing quality systems and ISO-related activities;
• Preparing analysis records as assigned;
• Reporting to the Finance Sr. Manager and Procurement Director as required.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a similar role;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as accounting and procurement systems;
Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
